Preparations are well advanced for The Third Lecture and Launch of Violence-Free Elections 2020 Conference next Thursday at the University of Cape Coast. The Center of Awareness Global Peace Mission Ghana in collaboration with The Alfred Nobel University of Ukraine are the hosts and will be chaired by The Paramount Chief of Abeadze Dominase Traditional Area and The Vice-President of The National House of Chiefs, Daasebre Kwebu Ewusie VII.
The programmed has been themed “TARGETING YOUTH AND LEADERSHIP ACROSS THE GLOBE ACROSS THE GLOBE TO ACHIEVE PEACE WORLDWIDE THROUGH EDUCATION” and is expected to reach out to over five hundred guests including Paramount Chiefs, Members of Parliament, Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives. The others are Heads of Educational, Civil and Public Institutions not forgetting Security Services and Political Parties. Churches, civil societies and youth groups have not been left out.
The event will be graced by The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and three former presidents, Jerry John Rawlings, John Agyekum Kufuor and John Dramani Mahama.
The others are The Founder and President of The Alfred Nobel University, Borys Kholod and The Executive President of The Center of Awareness Global Peace International, Prof. Dr. Samuel Ato Duncan.
For their immense contribution towards peace in Ghana and the world, nine personalities including three former presidents will be awarded. They are former presidents Jerry John Rawlings, John Agyekum Kufuor and John Dramani Mahama. The others are The Asantehene Otumfuor Osei Tutu II, The Paramount Chief of Oguaa Traditional Area, Osabarima Kwesi Atta II, The Paramount Chief of Abeadze Dominase, Daasebre Kwebu Ewusie VII, The Paramount Chief of Asebu Traditional Area, Nana Dr. Okatakyi Amenfi VII, The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Usman Sharabutu and The Founder and President of Alfred Nobel University of Ukraine, Electoral Commission, Ghana Armed Forces and Ghana Police Service.
