COA RESEARCH FUND LAUNCHED—THIRTEEN-MAN COA RESEARCH FUND MANAGEMENT BOARD INAUGURATED

A thirteen-man research fund management and advisory board has been inaugurated to manage the COA FS Research Fund in Accra.

Speaking at the launching of The COA FS Research Fund, The Executive President of The Center of Awareness Global Peace Mission, DrSamuel Ato Duncan said that it has become urgent for the world to help support and finance the worthy cause of finding a permanent cure for HIV/AIDS and many chronic diseases.

“Today, a new day has comeRally behind me and let’s fight for a HIV-free worldThe fight against HIV/AIDS will not be successful unless we stand together to direct attention and resources towards researches aiming at a permanent cure of HIV/AIDSIt is possible! Who says it’s not! The whole world was created out of nothing by God so why can’t we stop a small virus like HIV? Let us be more seriousHIV/AIDS can be cured”Prof.DrDuncan exclaimed.

Prof.DrDuncan pointed out that his quest for finding the cure for HIV/AIDS is not for his personal or monetary gain but for the permanent freedom for all persons living with HIV/AIDS across the worldHe added that the formula he discovered thirteen years ago has shown that it has the potential cure and that an independent research conducted by The Center leaves no doubt that HIV/AIDS can be combatted and cured.

He said he believes that if The Center assembles credible researchers to conduct more researches based on international standards and gets the right equipment for producing the drug the world will be the best for it and urged the board members to provide quality work and a successful implementation of the research.
Duncan revealed that he has spent a total amount of US$20,000,000 on research since 30th November, 2005 and charged the board members to endeavour to bring their assignment to fruition.

The board is chaired by the Omanhen of Oguaa Traditional Area, Osabarima Kwesi Attah IIThe members are Omanhen of Asebu Traditional Area, DrOkatakyie Amenfi VII, Togbe Yaka IV, DrMartha Annan, DrAnastasia Yirenkyi, Augustine Ocloo,Omanhen of Abease Dominase, Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi VII,DrVictor Nuvor,DrCaleb Mawuli Agbale, MrRobert Otieku Duncan and MrEvans Opata.

Speaking on behalf of the board, DrMartha Annan thanked Prof.DrDuncan for the honour done for personalities on the board and pledged their unflinching determination to see their work to a successful end.

An initial donation of Ghc 1, 000 was made by a member of newly inaugurated board, MrEvans Opata to the admiration of the gathering.
