The CEO of COA Research and Manufacturing Company Limited, Samuel Ato Duncan has been adjudged CEO of the Year 2022 (Herbal Manufacturing) at the Ghana CEO Summit which was held at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, Accra on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2023.
The Event in its 7th year, is an annual gathering of CEOs in both Public and Private sector entities and serves as a platform to deliberate on key policy issues, network and establish business relationships among top chief executives.
This year’s summit was on the theme “Economic Sovereignty, sustainable corporate governance, and digital industrial transformation: New Paths for Growth and Prosperity.”
Delivering the keynote address, a former President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama noted that the fact that government keeps blaming our economic woes on Covid, and the Russia-Ukraine war is an indication we have failed as a nation in building our economic Sovereignty. He called on the government to work closely with the private sector in ensuring that we build a conducive environment for businesses to thrive.
Organized by the CEOs Network Limited, the summit also recognizes, celebrates, and profiles the achievement of CEOs and businesses. The award celebrates Business success, innovation, leadership, and contribution to the economy.
Professor Duncan’s award was received on his behalf by the General Manager of the COA-RMCL, Mr. Richard Addo-Owusu.
